
Fortunately, there’s Richard Dawkins and his Foundation promoting reason and science. He has become kind of my intellectual idol. You can read more about him on the link above.
I have seen two of his documentaries (Channel 4) and I will post the links here. The first one is called The Root of All Evil? and is about religion and its belittling of consciousness. Dawkins goes as far as calling religion “dangerous". I do not completely agree in all that he says, but in most of his ideas I do.

The second is called The Enemies of Reason. This one is a piece of art to me. When he attacks superstition, another belief that really pisses me off, it’s like I’m hearing myself on the tele. I am glad to hear a recognized scientist using “my” arguments.
