Thanks to Gemma Atkinson (or to her fans) and for some reason I don’t understand, my blog became quite popular this month. More pictures here
Follow up:
I regularly check on my server’s statistics to determine the number of visitors, how long the stay, etc., to determine how popular my site is. Normally I received about a dozen of visitors, quite a modest audience, because mine is a relatively new blog, maybe not that interesting and I don’t update on a daily basis. So I was quite excited when more than a dozen people per day read my blog. All that changed the last May 16.
Suddenly, I got 348 visitors! My last article, published May 13, was about the abolition of the blasphemy law in the UK, which I regard as a very important step in the secularization of the country and an event that made me very happy. So I thought the 348 visitors was a reaction to this article. The next day I had 1230 visitors, the next 1436 and so forth. So I became suspicious.
Could it really be that my article was so good and received such a good reaction? There was no reaction in Technorati… After a few days I realized that most of the visitors came from Google Images, what absolutely puzzled me. I don’t have very interesting pictures in my blog, I thought.
But a couple of days later the reason was clear. The top search keyphrases looked pretty much like this:
- gemma atkinson
- gemma
- gemma atkinson images
- gemma atkinson hot
- gemma atkinson pictures
- jemma atkinson boobs image
- gemma atkison pics
- gemma atkison photo
- gemma atkison nude
- hot images gemma atkinson
So I did the experiment to search ‘Gemma Atkinson’ on Google Images. The result looks like this:

The third image you find is in my blog! In one of my first articles - Gemma Atkinson is fit! I guess that explains everything. Or maybe not.
Why the hell would my blog of all in the world climb to the top three, if I only posted once about Gemma Atkinson. I have written a lot more about Richard Dawkins, atheism and against religion and creationism, why didn’t those articles climb so high up? I think it is because of this post, in which I answered to some search keyphrases that led to my blog. Searches in Google. The thing is I mentioned ‘Google’. I guess if you write a out Google, Google will find you!
So I stopped writing for a while, because I felt nobody was reading my stuff. It was only a bunch of blokes (20967 this so far this month) looking for “hot nude boobs gemma atkinson images". Just look at the statistics!

But taking a closer look at the Search Keyphrases I discovered that a lot in fact do find my website by looking for my other topics, so the net issue of “Answers to Google Searches” will come at the beginning of next month.
